Small Price Increase Planned for 2007
It’s been more than ten years since the Bishop Museum has had an increase in attendance fees, while programs, events, and facilities have expanded greatly. Effective January 1, 2007 Bishop Museum ’s general admission fees will go up by $1. The fee adjustment will help cover additional operating costs.
New admission fees will be as follows: General Adult - $15.95; Senior, 65 & Over - $12.95; Child (4-12) - $12.95; Bishop Museum Members and Children 3 & under are always free. Rates for local residents ( kama ’āina) and active and retired Military visitors with identification are as follows: Adult - $7.95; Child (4-12) and Senior (65 & over) - $6.95. (Guests visiting Bishop Museum who are not local residents or military, but are accompanied by someone who is, can get a special admission rate of $9.95. Otherwise, regular retail admission rates will apply.) Bishop Museum is open daily, except Christmas Day, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Admission fees include guided tours, live demonstrations, music and dance performances, planetarium shows, and admittance to all exhibits, including the new Richard T. MamiyaScience Adventure Center.
