FIRST FRIDAY NOCTURNAL PROGRAM AT BISHOP MUSEUM

HONOLULU - Things are looking up at the Bishop Museum! The Sky Tonight is presented on the first Friday of every month at 7 p.m. by Hawaiian Astronomical Society Vice President Barry Peckham in Bishop Museum’s Jhamandas Watumull Planetarium. Admission is $4 for adults; $3 for Children (4-12); Free for Bishop Museum members and the Hawaiian Astronomical Society members. Seating is limited and reservations are strongly recommended and may be made by calling (808) 848-4168

The hour-long lecture explores the seasonal Hawaiian skies and weather-permitting, is followed by a brief session looking at the real sky from the Planetarium’s rooftop viewing deck and through the telescope in the Observatory. The program will be ongoing throughout 2007.
